It’s a real delight when we meet up with children of God who have peaceble, tender hearts. I’ve sought that and I’ve studied on it long seasons and I have come to some conclusions about the subject of God’s peace.
We seek to look to find those still water places of rest.
Blessed are the peacemakers. They’re blessed because they surrender to God their offenses and conflicts and he gives them deep peace in all circumstances. They turn the battles to the gate. They lay their burdens down at his feet.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. They’re blessed because the Love of the Lord has drawn them to his peaceful delights and they always hunger and thirst for more.
Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. The meek are blessed because they trust in the leading of Holy Spirit at all times. They have made the required sacrifices and they allow God to be God.
These people have learned how to live in the power of the cross. It makes effectual ministry possible.
Nancy Taylor Thurmond
“In peace there is healing. From a place of peace, I can more easily find direction. In peace there is quietness and rest. In peace there is victory! As I become peaceful, I can better find my position in Christ, then stand and have a greater impact.”
Great post. Peace is most essential for human survival and existence.

Thank you. Yes, peace is essential and true peace is found in our rebirth into the Lord Jesus Christ. The post refers to the teachings of Jesus from the Beatitudes, Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5 and 6. In Christ our peace is eternal.
