Word given in 2018
He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.” (Psalm 25:9)
This is a word God has spoken to my heart about our inheritance in Jesus. This morning I was meditating on Psalms 104 and the part about his chambers set me to thinking. I think I’ll be camping out in this for awhile.
Psalms 104:
13 He waters the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15 And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man’s heart.
16 The trees of the Lord are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted.
I Love the revelation of Christ and his body in the earth here. The truths of this beautiful Psalm excite my heart. I noticed the part about “From His chambers” it flows; and I was reminded of this word I had heard long ago.
Revelation from Watchman Nee. (Copied from Living Streams Ministry) I had seen this about the intimacy of the bride in his chambers and it has really stuck with me over the years. The intimate “in His chambers” romance with the Divine Lover.
FELLOWSHIP (1:4)
Verse 4 continues, “The King hath brought me into his chambers.” After the maiden prays, we see her prayer being answered: “The King hath brought me into his chambers.” The “chambers” are the “secret place” (Psa. 91:1), which are the bedrooms. Unless we have very deep friendship with a person, we will not bring him into our chambers. Therefore, when the King brings her into the chambers, it signifies the beginning of fellowship and revelation. In the chambers she tastes of a fellowship that was previously unknown. But more than this, she sees something that she has not seen before.
The word “King” indicates that before we know the Lord as our Beloved, we must first know Him as our King. A life of consecration always comes before a life of love, and a satisfying experience always comes after an act of consecration. “The King hath brought me into his chambers.” She has previously known Him as her King. But now the King will show her the experience of the chambers.
Those who are with the maiden can now lift up their heads as their future unfolds before them. There is no limit to their future. Once the experience of the chambers begins, hope abounds in a life of love. They know that since God has begun the work, He will surely complete it (Phil. 1:6). Therefore, they say, “We will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine.” These are words for the future. Their present experience fills them with hope for the future (cf. Prov. 23:35 for an example of seeking associated with wine).
“The upright love thee” should be translated, “They love thee in uprightness.” This means that their love comes out of a good conscience (1 Tim. 1:5). (End of Watchman Nee word)…..
The revealing of the chambers relationship speaks of the chosen saints who have come to “KNOW” him. Their calling and election has been made sure. These will continue overcoming and thriving through hard persecutions because they have fully kept the ways of the Lord. They are those who have been set apart, as Watchman Nee called it. Consecration. They have no other interests. They serve and minister from the word of the Lord. They sing the songs of the Bridehood. These bridehood truths were taught by my Pastor Poppa Kay; in them he revealed that few would sing that song because there’s a high price to pay. I’m here to say that I’m glad to be one of them who has, and will. His love has sweetened my world.
These are just some personal heart thoughts about the process as we set our hearts on putting the songs of the bridehood into practice. We’re thrilled when the glorious wonders we’ve seen in his word begin to become a reality in our life walk. We know and we learn to walk in our own true identity then and nothing can interfere with it. Our romance with him is an all consuming fire in our hearts. Fiery trials come to turn us back but they cannot. Because we belong to him completely; now it’s not just a place we seek, it’s a place we live out of. Even if we’re set down in a land of strangers we have great grace to be confident in who we are in God. Through his grace we can do what delights his heart. In all situations he guides us in his right ways to act justly and to love mercy because his humbling hand rests on us. If we fail in any way he is there to help us to recover.
All who are chosen, you and I, are pioneers and pioneers go where God leads. His way is to keep us firmly fixed in him wherever we are and to keep us safe; to take us into new dimensions and places unknown. We live as delighted and fulfilled yielded vessels, captive to the hope of himself abiding within. We’ve given ourselves first to God and then to others according to the will of God. Created as safe houses being built by Holy Spirit; houses of prayer. The night seasons come but his glory surrounds and the morning star rises in our hearts. From deep in his rest we sing the song of all songs; written on our hearts and even in the severest trials they pour out. Our prayers become songs of praise that spring up out of grateful hearts. Secretly we walk where only Father understands us fully and we’ve learned to be content with that. We cling tightly to his saving hand always. And by his anointing we serve to enrich the hearts and lives of all who welcome those who come in the name of the Lord. With trusting, childlike innocence we yield to Him as He builds consistency within our hearts. And we apprehend all of his promises for our good and for generations to come after us. Wherever you and I are in the process now we will get to his desired haven by following the trail blazed by Holy Spirit. I’m deeply touched by the reality of the romance in the life with Jesus. In my personal experience I’ve discovered a deep glory beyond anything I’ve ever imagined. And I will never turn back. My instructions from the Lord in recent times have been “Do more demonstrating it than talking about it.” If we look closely at the virtuous lady in Proverbs 31 we will see that it’s a picture of demonstration. What she did because of her fear of the Lord. And I’ve discovered that in the demonstration of his glory we will not live to please men and we surely will suffer persecutions. However, we live in the glories of hope. If we can’t yet walk in the fullness of the virtuous lady we can keep practicing opening our mouth with wisdom and kindness. I believe the fulness of the grace will soon follow. And we will live full of joyous expectancy for the future.
Majesty, worship His majesty; unto Jesus is all honor and praise! And delight in the intimacy of his sweet love and friendship!
Ephesians 3:19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
