Psalms 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
WHY DO I SAY JESUS IS GOD’S SOLUTION?
How can it be true that Jesus is God’s solution to a lost and wretched world when all around us we see things that are very troubling and in need of resolution? The answer to that question is found in the Holy Bible. The bible is a sacred work inspired by God and Jesus Christ is the central figure of it.
I don’t claim to have all the answers to every question that life throws our way but I come with personal conviction imparted from the experience of God’s redemptive power in my own life. The power of a changed life is powerful evidence that the word of God is true. Our lives become a testimony that it’s real! My hope is that the Holy Spirit will shine a light into some hearts here and bring eternal change.
Jesus is the good shepherd we’ve all heard about all of our lives who takes care of all who are His. And, Jesus is Lord, the Son Of God who has authority over all creation. Through his indwelling Holy Spirit the powerful love of God flows into the earth. God’s love is incomprehensible to the natural man but his mercy is evident to the trained eye. From our own real life experiences we all understand that the thoughts of our minds can play tricks on us.The condition of the heart must be changed in order for the mind to follow righteousness. The heart needs a good shepherd to lead and guide it into safe places.
I have a humble hope for the beginning of new learning in your own personal seeking of answers.
I will start with one well known scripture and attempt to build from there.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes on him should not perish, but have eternal life. For Jesus came not to condemn the world, but to save the world.
Until faith comes, all men live under spiritual law. As an example, gravity is a spiritual law. It operates whether we understand or choose to agree with it or not. So are all the spiritual laws God has established. The whole world is governed by “the law of sin and death.” This law says that the wages of sin is death. When sin is sown death will result. The death that results in our lives begins as the death of innocence, robbing men of peace, joy, hope, and right moral lifestyles that will eventually lead to physical death. The innocence of youth gradually changes and lost trust and resulting division cause a door for anger, bitterness, strife and unforgiveness to rule over the hearts and lives of the lost. Accepting the rule of heaven through the indwelling Christ is the solution which brings men under the covering of a new and better law. This is the law of love, called the “law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus”. Through faith in the gospel of salvation the wisdom of God comes and prepares us to learn new ways to live life.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
We can see through ongoing world events that the world is desperate for help! The sicknesses we see in our society are the consequences of a lack of truthful knowledge of God’s spiritual laws. God tells us that his people are destroyed through lack of knowledge. The disorder and trauma of life are the result of human beings reaping what they have sown because of spiritual darkness; ignorance of the light of truth. In our world, our family roots, and in the society around us, we are a people who live in a mindset that we will do what is right in our own eyes. In truth, we do not know any right way, and only in Jesus can we find it. Sadly, there are even those who might call themselves Christians but they still live by this creed. However, there is hope for all men through repentance.
God’s love for humanity is so deep and so wide that is cannot be explained worthily; it must be sought and pursued with the whole heart. Won’t you humble your heart and seek to become a partaker of it?
Eph1:7
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”
