There are streams in deserts and there are rivers in wildernesses.
Our journey toward our promised land sometimes will take us through seasons that seem uncertain and unsettling These we find are common to all who travel God’s pilgrim paths. However, I’m learning a valuable lesson along my way. We’re in training for reigning, but we’re never alone. Holy Spirit is always near and in him is our source of life sustaining living water. In our desert places we always have access to his living water. We can slow our pace and make our race more prosperous. We can drink from his love fountain, draw water from the well of salvation and let our heart blossom in the love of truth.
In the wilderness place of testing and trial we can persevere in spite of distresses and attempts to distract. We can ask God to adjust us to his deep process, We can practice leaning on the everlasting arms of the lover of our soul.
When we pass through our tests and trial we get more skilled and we give no place to the lies of the enemy. God will write his laws on our hearts and mind. Allow him room to refine your trust and let him carry you deeper into his river. Maturity will carry us far beyond the ways we were when we were children. Going on to maturity (Hebrews 12) we can become ministers of reconciliation to the weak and the lost.
There are many expressions of Christlikeness and in this very critical time seekers of his kingdom are set on discovering themselves in their own uniqueness. I’m engaged in that deep search. The Me I was created to be.
What a beautiful plan is held in the heart of Father God for all who continue to persevere in awe of divine wonder and pursuit of all we were created for. Every present moment in the Lord’s secret place is opportunity to build ourselves up in our most holy faith…There’s new life in his river. Above all, keep your covenant with Jesus safe and secured.
And You, know that whoever you are in God, you’re one of a kind!
