Are you one who is hungry to discover God in deeper depths? If you are, please join me as I dig into some thoughts from the word of God.
I’m learning from, and teaching from what I’ve learned about Kingdom delights. This is what we’re discovering when we’ve set ourselves to dig in deeper depths. God really wants to know us, to bring us into his close family. He loves to teach us. God knows we all suffer and God is the One who knows how to turn a valley of suffering into a door of hope. That might sound impossible to the natural mind, but if we’re born of God we’re not of the natural. We’re spirit born.
In Jesus God is able to use our sufferings for great eternal good for many. If that seems strange to you I will remind you of the suffering of Jesus on the cross. God doesn’t think and see like men do. The cross led the way to the gospel of eternal salvation. The deep suffering that brought life to all who will come willing.
There we can see clearly the majesty and power of God. It’s a wonder to stand in awe at. It’s wonder that we’re invited to apprehend. The kingdom is the pillar and ground of the truth. And there are dark lies set against truth. There’s a good fight of faith to fight against the lies of the dark kingdom. But the fight was really finished at Calvary. Jesus defeated death, hell and the grave. Now Holy Spirit guides us into entering in. For the fully trained disciple Jesus breaks chains of darkness and sets captives free.
We’re trained, as boot camp soldiers are. Testimonies of victory come out of seeing trials and testings as opportunities to watch God win the battle. God is able to show us how to walk in the reality of the promise in our personal walk. We are never without hope in God.
Maybe you’ve already seen times where valleys of trial brought new doors of hope. I know I have. I’ve walked through times of trauma and loss that I wondered if I could ever recover from. I’ve lost material possessions, I’ve lost friends, I lost a life mate. Lost fire for my life vision. Then, due season came for miraculous recovery. Divine recovery is one of the greatest wonders of God. There I found the eternal riches. A better inheritance. Joint heir with Jesus. Committed to the fullness of gospel truth.
There I laid all ministry ambitions down at the feet of Jesus. God in his mercy chases us down with goodness and mercy. Bless his holy name!
Phil 3:8
Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ.
We’re all called to consecrate. To walk through our own valleys and learn how to surrender to the majesty of God while we’re learning to become overcomers. The Lord is our Shepherd. It’s by our passion to pass through times of perplexing trials that we can become overcomers. God is able to help us to finish well. In the fullness of the plan of God we are enabled to bring heaven’s blessings into the earth realm we live in.
Luke 11:10
For everyone who keeps on asking [persistently], receives;
and he who keeps on seeking [persistently], finds;
and to him who keeps on knocking [persistently],
the door will be opened.
There’s always a new delight in Jesus on the other side of every storm. The open door leads us into the true knowledge that the Lord himself is our great reward. With him we can pass through any season and discover the triumph he always causes.
1 Tim 6:6
For godliness with contentment is great gain.
Persevering faith will keep us strong in the hope of his strengths when we come to the end of our strength. He purges us and stretches us into new day wonder that will amaze us. He knows how to bring peace to our valley times and use them for our good and for his glory. And for the profit of all who are needy and who look to him as their helper.
“For I know my plans for you. Plans to do you good and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
The Lord Jesus Christ is King and he will do exceedingly above and beyond all we can ask or imagine. The saints go marching on. We’re going to a holy city. Pioneers on a pilgrimage of seeking to bring as many as we can home to heaven with us.
I hope you’ve found some encouragement to ignite your hope here. Father God is so passionate to redeem us from our miseries and our unbelief. His love is better than life!
