“Yesterme, yesteryou, yesterday” …Are you the same person you were yesterday? I’m not and I’m pretty sure you’re not either. And I’ve got to say that my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the thing that keeps making me brand new. I’ve disocve4rd that there is new life in the word of God. When Father sends one of His alive words that says “Behold, old things are passed away, all things are new”, I get excited. I always welcome the changes he brings because I know that all he does is good. It’s all because of the love of the Lord. I’m learning that there’s always more beyond who we were in our yesterdays. And where we are now. I’m learning by experience that these new things God keeps announcing are to be welcomed with open arms. Always new wisdom to walk in ways that bring new strength to my heart. And accompanied by a new thought process. A new mindset and better God perceptions. A deeper death to the old selflife and a new resurrection. From one faith and glory into a new one. Yet, only because of his mercy that keeps us small in our own eyes.
Isn’t it amazing how we just keep meeting up with a new us and a new them and the lessons we learned along our way to this place are so valuable? And how it is that now we can teach others more effectively about the power, power, wonder working power of the blood of Jesus?
